My name is Roo Jackson lead singer for the Street Jaxkson Band. Bill Whitehead and I started the band back in 2008 when I moved back to Chicago from Marietta, Georgia.  I was born and raised in the Lexington, Mississippi is where I got my aspiration to become a singer at a young age my idols were James Brown, Chuck Berry, BB King, Howling Wolf, Elmore James and Jimmy Reed. Since moving to Chicago we have had the pleasure of performing for many night clubs, the Chicago Blues Festivals for years and doing many Corporate gigs at the Merchandise Mart, Corinthian Yacht Club, JB Hunt, Dreshler Designs and many more.  We are a classic energetic Blues band with a mixture of soul, funk and Rock n Roll. We've created our own sound with a professional group of entertainers. Like Jaymo Wilson on drums, Bass guitar Larry Williams, Lead guitar and vocals, Bill Whitehead, Paul Hanover on Harmonica and vocals Too Jackson. Together we are the "Street Jaxkson Band"

I also own a recording studio downtown Chicago "Invoice Chicago LLC" where we record and rehears to better our skills each week the we are not busy.
